We met Mark entirely accidentally while we were looking at places that didn’t really interest us. We moved to San Luis Obispo with a cursory knowledge of the areas, and an idea of what we wanted in a house. Mark Wimberly took the time to show us several corners of the county, and directed us to resources to consider when choosing a certain area of SLO county.

Mark advised us on offer strategy in a strange market. Mark helped draft a strong contract; he helped us consider certain things that would be positive, neutral or negative to the seller. Of four offers, ours was accepted. His work did not end there.
Mark was with us at every turn - he helped with inspections, went with us to county hall to negate any zoning concerns (we met with the planner that worked on our house!), and recommended a contractor for some upgrades we were considering. Mark gave us the straight answer; it was always the truth.

If we could sum up our experience it is this: "Mark treated our money like it was his. He made sure we knew any potential risks. When we buy or sell, Mark will be the only one we call."

I am deeply indepted to Mark Wimberly for his dedication and hard work in helping me to purchase my new residence in Los Osos. Although my daughter and her family have lived in Los Osos for about eight or nine years, I was relatively unfamiliar with this area. Mark is quite knowledable about property in Los Osos and in the neighboring communities. He provided me with a list and detailed descriptions of several properties in Los Osos that met my criteria concerning size, location, price, etc., and patiently showed these properties to my daughter and me. After viewing several properties in Los Osos, Arrroyo Grande, and Grover Beach, Mark helped me to locate and purchase a beautiful two-story residence only one half mile away from my daughter's home in Los Osos. Even after the original offer, counter-offer, and counter-counter-offer, Mark's work was not done. He arranged for a thorough inspection of the entire house by a team of licensed professional home inspectors. In general the house was in excellent condition, but there was some doubt about the condition of the heating furnace, and Mark persuaded the sellers to replace it with assistance from a seller's home warranty policy. I have little knowledge about real estate values and laws. Without Mark's invaluable professional help, I would not have been able to purchase my beautiful new home.
